The Clay County Community Foundation has given the CYFL a grant. The money will be used to build new bathrooms. There will be a check presentation to the CYFL on Saturday, October 10, 2009 at the "Harvest Hoedown". This will all take place at the Clay County 4-H fairgrounds from 4:30pm-10:00pm.
There will be a Texas style BBQ dinner presented by Pappy's BBQ,Live Music, a silent auction, and cornhole for all. Tickets to eat are $15. Children 12 and under $5. We will be there taking pictures so come out and have a good time with us!

Have you heard?? Decorative Lettering is THE hottest trend in Business Décor; and it's now come to the Wabash Valley!

Hello; my name is Michelle Striegel; and I am an independent demonstrator for Uppercase Living, a leader in the home and business décor lettering industry.

There are four amazing things about Uppercase Living products:

1) When on your wall, the lettering absolutely looks hand-painted!

2) It can be easily applied (and removed, if you choose….ie, think SEASONAL!)

3) While hundreds of pre-designed expressions are available in any of 30 colors and 3 sizes each, the best part is the ability to custom-order any expression that you would like, in any size and in any of the 30 colors!

4) Saved the best for last: the cost of our expressions is far below that of many standard lettering and sign companies!

Additionally, you may view the entire catalog online (and also play with "My Design Tool" to customize an expression for your business at my website: http://michellemaries.uppercaseliving.net

Want to remind everyone that spring means outdoor gardening and projects that require lawn equipment or farm machinery. If you find your equipment had been put away last fall with a broken shaft or in need of mechanical repair, don't forget PCM is here to help you save money on those costly mechanical fix-its.
With 30 years of experience, we guarantee you won't find a better shop with qualified professionals and reasonable prices.
Next time you are on your way to Terre Haute on state road 42, bring your broken item and we will "geter done" so you can get on with your summer fun.

I have been President/CEO of Parsons Custom Machining Inc. for the past 17 years. In 1997 we received the Quality Improvement Award from Indiana's Lt. Govenor Joe Kernon. On that occasion I was asked to speak at the then Hoosier Dome as the smallest company ever certified for ISO9002 Quality Registration.
Since that time our company has received the opportunity to make parts for almost every facet of mechanical equipment. From air conditioners to lawn mowers to space vehicles, our company has touched the world with award winning quality products made right here in Brazil Indiana. We also have one of the best mechanical equipment repair technicians in the community specializing in agricultural and heavy construction machines modifications and repair.(structural only).
Helping small businesses develope their products and keeping your business in business is our specialty. From proto-types to product quantities, we are here to support your machining needs.
Stop in and visit us on west State Road 42 right on the Clay/Vigo line.
We'll be watching for you!

Recently, I coordinated "Celebration of the Arts and Soul" in the former Brazil Masonic Temple. If you know of any artists in the area that would be interested in the upcoming "Spring Show", it would be much appreciated.
We are working on getting enough enthusiasm to start a permanent art gallery, here in Brazil.
As a side note, I am also building up my massage clientel and would love to have more from this area. So if you know of any contacts that would help me with this, send them my way.
Thank you. Please send any questions that you have about either the art event or the massages.
